Leonardo Calderon fought his way to the final last year and this year the successful ninja athlete is showing that he wants to get involved again. Leonardo pulls it off, delivers an extremely strong run and confidently leaves the first obstacles behind him and is now standing at the corkscrew. This doesn’t cause him any problems either and it goes easily over the main rollers over the swing arm to the springs. With a strong time, Leonardo hits the buzzer and is the fastest ninja so far this evening!

The best athlete of the evening so far
As a bouldering trainer, Marlies Brunner naturally has outstanding grip strength. The 21-year-old shows this on the roller coaster, which she masters strongly. The Austrian then shows herself to be confident on the corkscrews and also runs over the regular rolls. But Marlies can’t get her swing arm high enough. Unfortunately, this means she can’t hold on and can’t make the transition to the rope. Despite going into the water, it was a sensational performance that could possibly even be enough for the next round in the women’s classification.

With a shock to the buzzer
Milan Armengaud is one of those who manages to conquer the roller coaster and he is now facing the corkscrew. The student goes through this obstacle in complete control and cannot be stopped! The balance obstacle isn’t a big hurdle either. For the first time, it’s tight on his swing arm and he’s lucky that his foot doesn’t end up in the water. Now only the flight feathers separate him from the band and he can put a hook behind them too! Milan goes up the wall and hits the buzzer!

As a gymnast, Valerie Burdukov actually has the best qualifications for the ninja sport. But the rollercoaster is also over for the 22-year-old. Your approach with the quick transfer from the first to the second sled is basically good. However, with one arm, Valerie is unable to compensate for the momentum of stopping the first sled. That’s why she loses control and can no longer prevent the descent into the blue.

Marios Livitsanos-Ried is a real fighter. The 25-year-old has proven this throughout his life and he is also showing it on the course today. The man from Cologne completes one obstacle after the other in a highly controlled manner and takes the necessary time between obstacles. With the successful flight to the second spring, Marios is already the best of the athletes so far. Afterwards he continues safely and safely masters the remaining springs. The newbie still fails in his attempt on the mega wall. However, he then easily climbs the normal wall and is the first athlete of the evening to hit the buzzer – amazing performance!

Animal keeper Leif Loth puts in a lot of kilometers every day in his job and is certainly physically fit, but when he gets on the roller coaster, it’s all over for him. Maiko Osorio de la Rosa jumps through the five jump 2.0 with ease. The accountant from Göppingen then shows off his skills on the roller coaster and the challenging corkscrews. Maiko also masters the balance obstacle, the parent roles, easily. However, he lacks the feeling of gaining momentum on the springs. That’s why his jump to the second spring is too short. Still a strong performance!

Nadine Schulz starts things off. The 25-year-old masters the start confidently. On the roller coaster, however, she misses the momentum to get to the second sleigh. As a result, the personal trainer gradually loses her strength and her path into the water can no longer be prevented.

The seven obstacles
Of course, the course again consists of seven obstacles that have to be overcome. Getting started with the five jump 2.0 is absolutely possible. After that, of course, the challenge gets bigger and bigger, as usual, and it becomes increasingly a question of strength and endurance. The roller coaster, the corkscrew and the trunk rollers represent a real challenge before it goes over the swing arm and springs to the wall. The athletes have to go up there in order to press the buzzer at the end and thus successfully finish the course.

The new season of Ninja Warrior Germany is already in its fourth week. Today the athletes are taking on the course again and want to demonstrate their skills. The 13 best ninjas advance to the semi-finals. In addition, the two best women can still qualify if they do not already make it into the top 13. At the end, the four participants with the best time also take on the Endless Ladder to Heaven. There they fight for a direct ticket to the final.
