The Public Prosecution Service had Sywert and his co-director Bernd Damme expelled from their own mouth caps foundation through a civil procedure last April.
secretly
According to the Public Prosecution Service, the suspended directors of SHA have harmed the foundation by secretly placing the proceeds of mouth mask orders in their own company Relief Goods Alliance (RGA).
Two months ago, the Amsterdam court agreed with the request of the Public Prosecution Service to suspend the directors of SHA with immediate effect. The decision was made after a secret procedure. According to the Public Prosecution Service, this happened to prevent the incumbent SHA board from losing file documents or money in the meantime.
Accusations
Van Lienden and Damme will have the opportunity to defend themselves against the accusations of the Public Prosecution Service on Tuesday. If they fail to do so, their temporary suspension will be converted into dismissal.
In addition to these civil proceedings, the Public Prosecution Service is also conducting a criminal investigation against the ex-directors of the Auxiliary Troops Alliance, including Sywert van Lienden. They are suspected of fraud, embezzlement and money laundering.
