Celebrating George: Big memorial concert for George Harrison at the factory in Hamburg

George Harrison would have been 80 on February 25, 2023. For this reason, Hamburg’s Beatles expert Stefanie Hempel (inventor of the famous Beatles tour of the city) after the successful “Celebrating Paul” event last year, the Beatle spent a whole anniversary evening together with their band and many top-class guests at the factory in Altona.
On Easter Sunday (April 9th) his music with Indian instruments, ukulele and also some mysticism will be celebrated. Also there are Heinz Rudolf Kunze, Inga Rumpf, Annett Louisan, Stoppok, Gustav Peter Wöhler, Abi Wallenstein and the newcomers Michel von Wussow, Phil Siemers and Symøn.
They all interpret George Harrison’s songs – from the Beatles to his solo work to his work with the Traveling Wilburys. Tickets are still available. If you can’t be there, take a look HERE in the live stream.
