Van Nistelrooy keeps Veerman, Til and Max on the bench at PSV
PSV start the away match against Go Ahead Eagles without left defender Philipp Max and midfielders Joey Veerman and Guus Til. Trainer Ruud van Nistelrooy keeps the three of them on the bench, presumably with a view to Tuesday’s away game against Rangers FC in the play-offs of the Champions League. The young Norwegian Fredrik Oppegard takes over from Max. Xavi Simons and Richard Ledezma are the replacements for Veerman and Til. Ibrahim Sangaré is the third midfielder on the PSV side. Johan Bakayoko also has a starting spot and seems to be rewarded for his good substitute against AS Monaco last Tuesday. Ismael Saibari, who then started as a right winger, is now reserve.
