Two great matches on paper tonight: RKC Waalwijk – FC Volendam and Telstar – Willem II are duels where everything is at stake and you therefore sit well for it. You can follow them live on NH Radio from 7 p.m.
FC Volendam picks up again after a week off. The Eredivisie was halted last weekend because of the Ajax – PSV cup final. FC Volendam won 2-0 against SC Cambuur the week before and celebrated that as if the premier league has already been secured. That this is not yet the case became apparent when competitors Excelsior and FC Emmen also took points in the same round. With four games to play, it is therefore still necessary to watch out for the team from Volendam not to end up in the post-competition place sixteen in the Eredivisie.

There is also still something at stake for RKC Waalwijk. The team of departing trainer Jospeh Oosting can still hope to participate in the play-offs for European football. It will have to pass the NEC ranking for that. Michiel Kramer is having an excellent season at the age of 34. The former attacker of FC Volendam (’09-’13) is club top scorer with 12 goals.
A minute’s silence will be held before the match last week passed away Yuri Petrov. The Ukrainian played football for both RKC and FC Volendam. With Volendam, the attacker was promoted to the Eredivisie in 2008. Petrov was only 48 years old. Both teams wear mourning bands.
The kick-off is tonight at 8 p.m. Frank van der Meijden reports.
Telstar – Willem II
In the first division, Telstar must close the gap in the ranking with VVV-Venlo in order to participate in the play-offs for promotion to the premier league. With four games to go, that gap is four points. VVV-Venlo visits low-flyer Helmond Sport, while Telstar meets a team in shape with Willem II. The Tilburgers, trained by Reinier Robbemond, are at the top of the fourth period in which they won six of the seven games.

Former FC Volendam player Erik Schouten returns to Willem II from a suspension. Another former FC Volendam player, Nick Doodeman, has been unable to play since November due to a knee injury.
There will also be a kick-off in Velsen-Zuid at 8 p.m. You will receive the commentary for this game from Stephan Brandhorst. NH Sport is available from 7 p.m. Your presenter is Robbert van den Heuvel. With reporter Milton Pus, he looks ahead to tomorrow evening’s North Holland derby between Ajax and AZ.
