Russia has verbally accepted important Ukrainian proposals. So says David Arakhamia, Ukraine’s chief negotiator in the peace talks with Russia. He added that Kiev is now awaiting written confirmation. The Ukrainian military has regained control of the entire Kiev region. The Russian troops have completely withdrawn from the cities near the capital. However, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the retreating Russians left behind a “complete disaster”.
