DendermondeThe Dendermonden residents had to wait twelve years for it, but today it’s finally time! Their proud Ros is taken from the stable to carry the Vier Heemskinderen Maarten, Wout, Stan and Lander through the city center in a historic roundabout, which counts about 2,000 extras. The festival is expected to mobilize about 100,000 people. The city center is therefore car-free, the 18,000 grandstand seats are sold out. Start around 2.30 pm, the highlight follows around 7.30 pm with a spectacle on the large market with more than 10,000 rockets.
