A first group of 550 foreigners was able to leave the Gaza Strip on Wednesday. They entered Egypt via the Rafah border crossing. Nearly 90 injured Palestinians also escaped. According to the embassies, there are citizens from at least 44 countries in the Gaza Strip. Together with the more than 2.4 million Gazans, they have to try to survive during continuous Israeli bombardments, without water, electricity, telephone or internet and with barely any food.
