Napoli wins big at Torino
Napoli presented itself again in the away match at Torino as a future Italian national champion. Partly thanks to two goals from top scorer Victor Osimhen, the team of coach Luciano Spalletti won 0-4. With eleven matches to go, Napoli hardly seems to be able to catch up with the pursuers Internazionale and Lazio.
Osimhen opened the score in the ninth minute with his twentieth goal of the season. It didn’t stop there, because number 21 followed in the 51st minute, giving Napoli a 3-0 lead and the game was decided. Before the break, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia had already made it 2-0 from eleven meters, after a foul by Karol Linetty on the Georgian had led to a penalty kick. Substitute Tanguy N’Dombele made it 4-0 after more than an hour in the field against the team where defender Perr Schuurs had a basic place as usual.
Arsenal beat Crystal Palace
Arsenal have handled Sporting’s elimination in the Europa League after penalties well. Three days later, coach Mikel Arteta’s team won the league game against Crystal Palace 4-1. It was the sixth win in a row for the Premier League leader, who extended the lead over Manchester City to eight points. City, who reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday, still have a game in hand.
