LIVE. First soldiers evacuated from Azov stable factory in Mariupol

After a weeks-long blockade, more than 260 Ukrainian soldiers have left the Azov stable factory, the last stronghold of the Ukrainian resistance in the strategically important port city of Mariupol. They are being taken to territory occupied by Russia. They can return later through a prisoner exchange, the Ukrainian army staff said on Facebook on Monday. According to Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Ganna Malyar, 53 were injured and 211 other soldiers were injured. The wounded are said to have been transferred to Novoazovsk to be treated there.
