THE HAGUE – Farmers are protesting the government’s nitrogen policy on Tuesday. On Tuesday, farmers with tractors went to The Hague, among other places. There were blockades on various highways in the country, according to the police, fireworks were thrown from a viaduct above the A50 at emergency workers, on the A1 near Stroe the valves of a police car and police motorcycles were loosened and the tires of a police car were punctured. Around 11 p.m., protesting farmers at the home of Minister Christianne van der Wal (Nature and Nitrogen) were broken into by a police cordon.
