PSV FORTUNA
Joey Veerman has a basic place at PSV in the home match against Fortuna Sittard. The former player of sc Heerenveen replaces Cody Gakpo, who suffered a minor injury in the meeting with FC Copenhagen in the eighth finals of the Conference League on Thursday. Gakpo is also not on the reserve bench against Fortuna. PSV’s line-up is otherwise unchanged compared to Thursday.

Ajax has fought its way to a victory over Feyenoord. The club came back from behind twice. Antony scored the decisive goal (3-2) in the final phase and had to leave the field with a second yellow card in injury time.

FC Groningen has continued its advance in the Eredivisie with a victory over FC Utrecht. Thanks to a flashy start with two goals in the first 10 minutes, the team of coach Danny Buijs won 3-1 in De Galgenwaard.
Go Ahead Eagles – SC Cambuur 3-0
After the excellent match against Ajax last week, SC Cambuur was unable to visit Go Ahead Eagles again a week later. Goals from Joris Kramer, Luuk Brouwers and Mats Deijl gave Go Ahead a simple 3-0 home win.
FC Twente – PEC Zwolle 1-0
FC Twente put the pressure on AZ in the battle for place 4 again. The tukkers had to go deep and escaped a number of times against PEC Zwolle, but eventually won 1-0 thanks to a goal by Daan Rots.
NEC – Sparta Rotterdam 0-0
No goals were scored in De Goffert and NEC was most angry about that. The Nijmegen team seemed to get a penalty after Adil Auassar’s hand, but both referee Jochem Kamphuis and the video referee didn’t think it was a penalty: 0-0.
Friday night already booked SC Heerenveen the first victory of 2022. In its own Abe Lenstra Stadium, the team of Ole Tobiasen defeated Heracles Almelo with 2-0 thanks to goals from Amin Sarr and Nick Bakker.
