PSV win in Groningen
PSV started 2022 with a small victory. On a visit to FC Groningen, Mario Götze scored the only goal of the match after ten minutes. In the second half, Joey Veerman made his debut for the Eindhoven team.
Big Ajax victory in the Galgenwaard
Ajax won surprisingly easily on Sunday at FC Utrecht. Thanks to two goals from Brian Brobbey it became 0-3. Antony produced the opening goal of the team from Amsterdam.
Scoring in Leeuwarden
Cambuur and Sparta did not get further than a 1-1 draw. The blunder of Sparta goalkeeper Tim Cooremans in particular caught the eye. The keeper was under the bar, because Maduka Okoye is active with Nigeria in the Africa Cup.
Feyenoord directly down against Vitesse
Feyenoord immediately took a major blow in the new year by losing to Vitesse (0-1) in its own Kuip. The Arnhem team has now approached Feyenoord by three points and can become a serious competitor in the battle for third place. Lois Openda became the match winner, because he took advantage of a mistake by goalkeeper Justin Bijlow who scored too quickly on a Vitesse counterattack.

NEC and Heracles do not score at the return of much-discussed Vloet
NEC and Heracles Almelo did not score in their first game after the winter break: 0-0. Rai Vloet, who was involved in a fatal traffic accident in mid-November, came in for the team from Almelo halfway through the second half.
FC Twente- SC Heerenveen
FC Twente has resumed the competition with a victory over sc Heerenveen. In Enschede it was 2-0 for the home club. FC Twente is therefore provisionally in fifth place.
Go Ahead Eagles-RKC Waalwijk
By winning an away match for the first time since November 2020, RKC Waalwijk has taken a big step towards retaining its place in the Eredivisie. The Waalwijkers beat Go Ahead in Deventer with 0-2. As with other matches at the highest level, the goalkeepers also played a leading role in the Adelaarshorst.

At PEC Zwolle, Oussama Darfalou, who was hired from Vitesse, was in the starting line. Max de Waal, who came over from Jong Ajax, was not yet part of the match selection. Van den Belt scored both before and after the break against the Tilburgers, who lost the last nine Eredivisie matches.
