Last season, the Alkmaarders lost 1-2 to the visitors on the debut of trainer Pascal Jansen. If the formation of Danny Buijs manages to copy that piece of art, the team settles firmly in the middle bracket. From there, in 2022, the focus should be on the places that entitle the play-offs for European football. The kick-off in Alkmaar is at 9 p.m.
Vitesse – PEC Zwolle
Vitesse closed the first half of the season with a home win over PEC Zwolle (1-0). Lois Openda signed for the winning goal immediately after the break. The attacker missed a great chance of the opening goal in the first half.
Vitesse climbed to fourth place in the ranking with the victory. FC Twente can pass the club from Arnhem on Wednesday. The formation from Enschede then plays an away game with FC Utrecht.
