The RMI has scaled up its warning for storm Eunice, which will reach our country this afternoon, to code orange. The storm winds will hit the coast, East and West Flanders and Antwerp heavily this afternoon between 2 and 3 p.m. and between 6 and 7 p.m. Code orange applies in those provinces. For the coast and West Flanders, this may still be scaled up to code red. “We have never issued code red for wind before. This could be the worst storm in years,” warns VTM weatherman David Dehenauw.
