After two victories from the first two test games of the summer preparation, Borussia Dortmund is now playing at SC Verl. However, BVB fans will have to be patient before they see the prominent newcomers in action.
sport.de accompanies the test match on this Thursday from 6 p.m in the detailed live blog.
SC loss 0:1 BVB
Gates: 0: 1 Pohlmann (16th)
List BVB: Meyer – Passlack, Papadopoulos, Hummels, Aning – Dahoud, Kamara – Wolf, Reus, Pohlmann – Moukoko
+++ 16th minute, tooor for BVB, 1:0 by Ole Pohlmann +++
+++ 14th minute +++
Papadopoulos needs treatment off the field in those seconds. For now, it’s not clear why the Greek has to back down. After a short maintenance, the central defender is back.
+++ 11th minute +++
Passlack is fouled in the right half field, there is a free kick in a promising position. Aning hits the ball with his left into the penalty area, but the ball lands in the arms of Verl keeper Thiede without a BVB player having a chance to finish.
+++ 8 minutes +++
Aning plays a sloppy pass into the center in his own half, Pohlmann can’t get hold of the ball. Verl tries to switch quickly, but Kamara energetically intervenes. The 17-year-old from Guinea stands out for the second time with a good ball recovery.
+++ 5th minute +++
As in the first two friendlies, BVB are playing with a back four and two central midfielders (Dahoud and Kamara). This is Edin Terzic’s preferred tactical system anyway.
+++ 2nd minute +++
The black and yellow take the first good attack forward on the right flank. Wolf lets his opponent stand with a nice trick and gives a flat shot to the center, where Pohlmann just barely misses. Reus pokes around, but doesn’t get the ball under control.
+++ 1st minute, kick-off +++
BVB has kicked off, the ball is rolling!

+++ BVB without national players – with one exception +++
Borussia Dortmund is still playing the third test match of the summer preparations without a national player. After the easy training gallop on Monday, the new signings Nico Schlotterbeck, Niklas Süle, Salih Özcan, Karim Adeyemi and Sébastien Haller will not be used yet.
The only exception: Captain Marco Reus should be on the pitch against the third division team.

Two games, two wins, that’s the record of new coach Edin Terzic. However, the games against the sixth-rate Lüner SV (3-1) and Dynamo Dresden (2-0), who have been relegated to the second division, cannot be used as real reference values.
The 18-year-old newcomer Prince Aning attracted attention. The Dutchman was involved in three of the five goals so far, but after moving from the Ajax youth team he is initially intended for BVB’s second team.
