Hans O., the man suspected of the murder of Ralf Meinema, can speak today during the second day of the trunk murder trial. His lawyer also speaks extensively.
The body of 31-year-old Meinema was found badly beaten in the trunk of his Mercedes on the early morning of March 31, 2017. It hung over the edge of the Stieltjeskanaal between Zandpol and Coevorden.
DNA material from Hans O. from Emmen was found on his left pocket. The Public Prosecution Service assumes that he killed Meinema and is involved in transporting the body. O. has been demanded 18 years in prison.
