FC Twente offered 400,000 euros for the midfielder in July, but FC Volendam resolutely rejected that. The team from Volendam extended his contract unilaterally by one year until 2025.
That is against the sore leg of Kamp-Eiting, because according to them that option would only be discussed next year. The asking price has meanwhile risen to 2.5 million euros for Twente.
