As Wet Leg performed the track during their Coachella performance last Friday (April 21), Dave Grohl suddenly appeared onstage to lead his howler too. The Foo Fighters singer was only recognizable at second glance: he was wearing beige cargo shorts and a straw hat, so at first glance it looked like the father of a festival-goer had gotten lost on stage.
The Foo Fighters weren’t on the Coachella lineup in 2023. That makes Grohl’s performance all the more fun, who apparently only came by to capture the vibes of the festival. The band around Dave Grohl recently announced their first album since the death of former drummer Taylor Hawkins. It will be titled BUT HERE WE ARE and is scheduled for release on June 2, 2023. The single “Rescued” can already be heard on the usual streaming platforms.
