Police urge bystanders to stay away
AMSTERDAM – The Amsterdam police came out on Tuesday afternoon in response to a report of a robbery on Leidseplein. It would have ended in an armed hostage-taking in the Apple Store. A video shows someone being held at gunpoint by a man. Security forces are urging bystanders to stay away. The army has also been called in.
