Little Simz has released a music video for their track “Gorilla”. The clip is something very special: it was created with the help of Microsoft Cloud and artificial intelligence. This makes it interactive and unique for each viewer – it changes with each view and in real time, depending on where users show interest.

With “Gorilla” Little Simz proves her skills
On “Gorilla” Little Simz demonstrates her extraordinary lyrical skills. With incredibly long and intelligent chains of rhymes, she already reduced the international rap game to rubble at the end of December. “I was just on the ends droppin’ gems with my friends / I got a 3310 and a pack of troubles / Then got the golf, all-black, circle back again / Rappin’ when nothin’ progressive was happenin’,” she raps in the first verse. The high rhyme density prevails through the entire track.
The instrumental is reserved during the verse, only a relaxed drum groove and a jazzy bass accompany the 29-year-old. A brass ensemble occasionally interrupts the laid-back rap vibe to add a touch of soul to the mix.
“Gorilla” is the second song from the album NO THANK YOU, which “Simbi” released in December 2022 without notice. It has been available on CD and vinyl since Friday (June 16). ME author Julia Lorenz gave the record full marks. “The attempt, the breakthrough [SOMETIMES I MIGHT BE INTROVERT (2021)] followed by an equally great, but more casual rap work, succeeds across the board,” she wrote in her review.
