Actor from Ohio Hersha Parady has died at the age of 78. Son of Parady Jonathan Peverall to announce sad news The Hollywood Reporter for the magazine. In addition to Peverall, Paradylla had three children.
Peverall says that his mother passed away on Wednesday, August 23, as a result of a meningioma. The retired actor had been suffering from the tumor for a long time, and Peverall had even asked for help with his mother’s medical expenses through a crowdfunding platform. The announcement had been on the site for about a month. According to Peverall, Parady had moved to her area in Virginia after the actor’s condition worsened.
Back in July, Peverall wrote on the site that his mother had undergone successful surgery to mitigate the effects of the tumor. However, during the recovery period, Parady contracted pneumonia and had to return to the hospital. At that time, he was placed in the intensive care unit, where he was on a ventilator.
The actress is best known for her role as Alice Garvey Little House on the Prairie -series, where he appeared in 1977-1980. He was seen for the first time on television Bearcats!in an episode of the series in 1971. After that, Parady appeared as a guest star, among others The Waltons – and Mannixseries before she landed the role of Alice Garvey. After ending the iconic series, he was seen less and less on television.
