Kaulanen says that he has participated in about five ayahuasca retreats, each of which includes four ceremonies. There are about twenty psychedelic ceremonies behind.

– The first ceremony was terrible vomiting. I felt like packing my bags and getting the hell out of here. It was such a stupid thing. But I was told it’s part of the process. There were still three ceremonies ahead and I thought that I wouldn’t survive this, Kaulanen says in the podcast.

Kaulanen says that psychedelics dig up traumas buried in the subconscious to consciousness. These manifest as various hallucinations.

Kaulanen says that he sees the hallucinations as, among other things, geometric patterns and various creatures.

According to Kaulainen, the “cleansing” of ayahuasca includes vomiting and hallucinations, among other things, diarrhea and convulsions.

Kaulanen emphasizes that he does not recommend ayahuasca retreats to anyone, and calls for comprehensive background research.

– I can’t know whose pack will last. There is, among other things, a clear danger of psychosis in them. You experience such powerful things in it. You should think about the risks before you even consider the whole thing.

Kaulanen justifies his use of psychedelics by treating mental health problems and ADHD. With psychedelics, Kaulanen has stopped using snuff, which he started in elementary school.

Illegal in Finland

Ayahuasca’s active ingredient dimethyltryptamine (DMT) is classified as an illegal drug in Finland. It has even been interpreted as a very dangerous drug. Kaulanen last participated in a psychedelic retreat in October in Colombia. At that time, he updated his mood on Instagram.

Kaulanen said in the video he published that he drank substances that contain psychoactive substances at the retreat. The substances caused him strong physical reactions.

– I threw up all night. At some point during the night I was lying on the floor vomiting, Kaulanen said in a video he published on social media.

– I felt like I was going to die from vomiting. Then the shaman came to say that it has now been vomited out. It drove some devil out of there, Kaulanen said.

Kaulanen said that during one of the rituals, he had some sort of seizure, during which his head buzzed inside, his legs shook and his hands convulsed. Kaulanen breathed so strongly and laboriously that the retreatist next to him was scared.

Next, four men carried Kaulasen out of the tent. Kaulanen remembers that he was unable to move any of his body parts. Even Kaulainen’s pulse was checked. The scene ended shortly after this.
