According to LRT, Laurynas Kasciunas, chairman of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense, and his colleague, contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs last week about holding concerts by Koroleva and Habib.
According to Kasciunas, before inviting a performer, concert organizers should assess the geopolitical situation. He recalled a possible Russian military invasion of Ukraine, in light of which the concerts of Russian performers are “a complete misunderstanding”.

Natasha Koroleva’s concert director, Marina Narinskaya, told RBC that the singer had no concerts in Crimea. The Queen herself told RBC that this decision causes only one reaction – “a smile with bitterness and bewilderment.”
“You involuntarily experience Spanish shame for such representatives of the authorities who, while promoting “freedom”, demand “an assessment of the geopolitical situation. God, Natasha Koroleva and geopolitics, ”said the singer.
RBC turned to singer Khabib Sharipov for comment.
This is not the first time that the Lithuanian authorities have introduced entry bans for performers from Russia. In 2016, Oleg Gazmanov was included in the list of “not allowed to enter” Lithuania, in 2019 – Grigory Leps, and last year Philip Kirkorov was banned from entering for the next five years for his position on annexing Crimea. The singer planned to appeal the decision of the Lithuanian authorities in court.
