Louis Vuitton goes among the booksellers at Art Basel.
The French luxury fashion brand is using the Swiss art fair to put its photo and book books in the spotlight in a pop-up, Louis Vuitton announced on Tuesday.
The fashion house’s catalog of publications includes more than a hundred books dedicated to travel and fashion. These include the Louis Vuitton “City Guides”, the so-called “Travel Books” and the “Fashion Eye” series, in which a region or a country is shown through the eyes of renowned fashion photographers.
In addition to exploring the various publications, Louis Vuitton also invites Art Basel guests to a book signing with painter and illustrator Yann Kebbi. Kebbi himself designed a “Travel Book” for the fashion house that portrays Las Vegas from his point of view. The artist will be at the Louis Vuitton stand in Hall 1 of Art Basel on June 13th and 14th between 4pm and 5pm. His “Travel Book” is also available there as an exclusive “Artist Book” edition.
Art Basel takes place from June 12th to 18th.
