The Weeknd’s new album DAWN FM is out now, January 7th, 2022. In addition to the musician himself, artists such as Lil Wayne and Tyler, the Creator are also represented on it.

The Weeknd already hinted at the release of a new long player in August. In the months that followed, things calmed down again. However, on New Year’s Day, the singer had a nice surprise for his fans. The album was to be released a week later.

The post said: “Everything feels messy again. Music can be healing and that now feels more important than launching a new album. Let’s just release the whole thing and enjoy it with the people… XO”.

The Weeknd also brought some of his fellow musicians into the studio for his new long player. Including Tyler the Creator, Quincy Jones and Lil Wayne. Actor Jim Carrey has also appeared on DAWN FM.

He also recently revealed on Twitter what he thinks of the new record: “Yesterday I was listening to @theweeknd Dawn FM with my good friend Abel. It was deep and elegant and had me dancing around the room. I’m thrilled to play a part in his symphony.”
