Under the watchful eye of 1500 TOP Oss supporters, both teams started the match fiercely. The confrontation between TOP and FC Den Bosch is not a derby for nothing. That was also reflected on the field. Many hard duels and there was fighting for every meter.

The level was lower, but that didn’t make the game any less attractive. The home team had the optical superiority and became the most dangerous. Although it had to watch out for the possibilities of the visitors in the conversion. In addition, the home supporters made a great party of it in the home stands.

Just before half time, the ban was broken by Justin Mathieu. The attacker took the lead with a nice volley. 1-0.

After the break FC Den Bosch showed itself a little more. But it didn’t lead to great opportunities. TOP Oss seemed to have things in order but fifteen minutes before the end it went wrong for the home team. Niels Fleuren headed the ball into his own goal from a corner. A happy equalizer for the visitors.

While the away team seemed to be getting wings after the equalizer, the winning goal fell on the other side three minutes before the end. Lion Kaak shot in the 2-1 from the edge of the box.
