Linet: I want to be buried on top of my mother!

Linet’s mother, Leyla Özgecan, who made her first album in Israel, where she was born and grew up at the age of 10, and released her first album in Turkey in 1995, passed away on Friday, March 18. The singer announced the bitter news on his social media account.

The 47-year-old artist said, “My dear mother, my teacher Leyla Özgecan reached Hakk’s mercy today. Thank you for everything I have shared with you in this journey of life. My companion, my dear mother, may your path be with light.”

“HEAVY SMELL MOTHER”

Sharing her photos taken on stage with her mother on Instagram, Linet wrote, “I would like to thank everyone who shared and looked for my beautiful mother’s loss and my deep pain. My pain is indescribable. A mother’s love, her presence only once in a lifetime. My mother smells of heaven.” Condolence messages came to the singer from many of his followers, especially famous names.

“I DON’T”

Shocked by the death of her mother, Leyla Özgecan, Linet had recently been spotted at Nişantaşı City’s.

The singer, who was very upset and seemed to lose weight, made the following statement:

“Inevitably, there is weight loss due to sadness. I want to thank everyone who calls from Turkey and Israel. I got the biggest support from my mother.”

“TODAY WAS MY MOTHER’S BIRTHDAY”

The singer, who took the stage in a hotel in Cyprus on the second day of Eid al-Fitr and preferred a white outfit for the guests who came to listen to him, appeared before the members of the press before the stage.

Linet had emotional moments, saying, “Today was my mother’s birthday. If she were alive, she would have turned 78 now. I still can’t believe it.” Members of the press said, “May God give you long life. Would you like to be buried next to your mother and father?” On the question, Linet said, “Actually, I want to be buried on top of my mother.”

“I congratulate the holiday of the whole Muslim world with my sincere wishes. I will sing all the songs to my mother tonight,” said Linet, and sang her songs, each more beautiful than the next, with her two thousand guests.
