Open eyes instead of excess alcohol, hair dryer waves instead of being ashamed of others.
For years, scandal noodle Lindsay Lohan (36) only made a name for itself with crashes and party photos – all films flopped. But now she’s back.
La Lohan looked fresh as the morning dew at New York Fashion Week recently. Well rested, smiling, forehead smoothed, red hair curled up. She seems happy. Pure glamour.
To support sister Aliana (29) and brother Dakota (26), Lindsay traveled from her adopted home of Dubai to New York, where she shone in the front row of a fashion show. She was celebrating her younger siblings modeling down the runway – but everyone was staring at Lindsay!
First leading role at the age of twelve
Lindsay – the fallen child star. She was already in front of the camera at the tender age of three. In 1998 she played her first leading role in the film “A Twin Comes Seldom Alone”, when she was twelve years old. A little later she becomes a Disney star. In 2005, Lindsay celebrated great success with “Herbie Fully Loaded”, she lolled about in “Playboy” and was considered a world star.

The crash: party, booze, jail
One film flop follows the next, Lohan only makes a name for himself with party photos, alcohol excesses and changing love affairs. She ended up in jail several times – for drunk driving, drug possession and driving without a license. In addition, there are violations of her probation conditions and constant quarrels with her family.
Lindsay looks exhausted back then, her lifestyle is leaving its mark. Several withdrawal attempts fail. In 2014 she pulls the ripcord. She turns away from Hollywood, moves to Dubai and opens a nightclub in Greece. It’s getting quiet around her.
In 2022 she marries her great love Bader Shammas, a Kuwaiti-born financier, and longs for the glamor of yesteryear. Lindsay seems to have recovered, is back – and looks healthy.

In an interview with CNN she announced in 2022 that she wanted to revive her Hollywood career. “You know, I just want the life I’ve worked so hard to get back and share it with my family and you guys,” she said wistfully at the time.
A first major order for the streaming giant Netflix followed. Lindsay Lohan has landed a lead role in a Christmas movie. This job and her glamor appearance at fashion week are definitely first steps towards a second career opportunity.
