Lindemann procedure in Vilnius: This is how Shelby Lynn reacts

Shelby Lynn comments on Twitter about the final termination of the preliminary investigation against Rammstein singer Till Lindemann in Vilnius.

As it became known on Friday (June 23), the Lithuanian police in Vilnius are finally dropping the case against Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann. For Shelby Lynn – the woman who made serious allegations against the band and thus started the Lindemann scandal – this is not a big surprise, as she shared on her social networks.

“This is hardly news, what a big surprise that the Vilnius police are refusing to investigate. I was pretty sure my complaint wouldn’t do anything. Berlin is still investigating and this is the case I want to hear about first,” Lynn wrote on Twitter.

Commenting further, she explains: “Yes, Lithuania dropped it again after my appointment, I expected that and I didn’t trust them. I expected it, I’m still smiling.”

Lynn had given the Lithuanian police a five-and-a-half-hour statement in which she reported on allegedly bad experiences at a Rammstein concert in Vilnius. However, the local authorities had decided not to prosecute. Lynn then lodged a complaint: “I submitted a written objection yesterday. I also asked for access to the files. I am completely irritated by the actions of the Lithuanian police,” she wrote on Instagram on June 14. Her complaint led to an examination of the facts by the public prosecutor’s office. Apparently this is over now. Result: No proceedings against Till Lindemann in Vilnius.

In Berlin, on the other hand, investigations are underway against the singer: the Berlin public prosecutor’s office is investigating an initial suspicion against Till Lindemann, as became known on Wednesday (June 14). “Image” speaks of investigations under paragraph 177 of the Criminal Code (this relates to sexual assault, sexual assault and rape).
