BVLinde Merckpoel (37) is pregnant again. The VRT face itself announced this on Instagram. Merckpoel already has a daughter, Cleo, who will be two years old in December.
The former Studio Brussel presenter shared the happy news with a series of cryptic photos on Instagram. “Clothes that I will soon fit in again,” she writes in snapshot number one, on which she poses with maternity clothes. Then she shares an image of a cardboard box of outfits that won’t fit again until 2023. There are also photos of the VRT vlogster with a basketball under her T-shirt and with a plate of oysters in front of her. “I can’t eat anymore,” she wrote. The last image in the slideshow is a romantic snapshot with her boyfriend Jef. “Greetings from girlsmom and dad”, it sounds.
Merckpoel will soon become a mother of a daughter again. Together with Jef she already has one child, Cleo (1.5 years). Under the slideshow it is raining congratulations, including from VRT colleagues Siska Schoeters, Fien Germijns and Michèle Cuvelier.
overwhelmed
Linde Merckpoel worked for Studio Brussel for years and has been the podcast and video face of the public broadcaster for some time now. Since 2018 she has been in a couple with Jef. In interviews she already told how much she likes being a mother. “I am still totally overwhelmed by motherhood. Because of the gift that such a child is. Because of how motherhood makes me look at everything around me. I am grateful for the mother I can be, I am grateful for the mother I have. I literally sent it to her after Cleo was born: ‘Moeke, only now do I understand how much you love me’. It is crazy. Can’t comprehend.”
It is therefore no surprise that a second child will soon be born: “I can definitely see myself becoming a mother a second time,” Linde said earlier. “Jef knows that, yes. (laugh) I grew up with a brother myself and I give Cleo that very hard. To have a partner in crime. My brother and I did everything together. I am the godmother of his eldest daughter today, he is the godfather of Cleo. We call ourselves the Merckpoel clan. Our blood bond is even closer since we were parents ourselves.”
