FRANKFURT (Dow Jones) — The gases company Linde is expanding its capacities on the US Gulf Coast. As the DAX group announced, it is expanding its facility in La Porte, Texas. From 2024 onwards, Linde intends to meet the growing demand from the petrochemical, green energy, manufacturing, food and aerospace industries on the US Gulf Coast. The facility will also service Linde’s US Gulf Coast pipeline system, which includes nitrogen and oxygen pipelines stretching from the Houston Ship Channel south to Freeport, Texas.
“This investment will further strengthen our robust supply capabilities in the US Gulf Coast and allow Linde to take advantage of growing demand,” said Jeff Barnhard, Vice President South Region. “This project offers significant productivity benefits as it builds on the unique infrastructure that Linde has already established on the US Gulf Coast.”
