‘Linda de Mol provokes criticism herself with a savage rant’

Roos Schlikker believes that Linda de Mol has provoked the fierce criticism of her comeback column herself. “It was kind of rant, a kind of angry outburst. Then you run the risk of criticism.”

For the very first time, John de Mol’s TV channel SBS 6 criticized the comeback column of his sister Linda de Mol. Until now, Talpa’s programs were free from criticism of the fallen TV queen, but that changed yesterday: Roos Schlikker criticized Linda’s remarkable behavior in HLF8.

Criticism of Linda

Linda has lashed out at all kinds of celebrities in her comeback column, including even Tim Hofman. She has received a lot of criticism about this, including from Daphne Bunskoek, GeenStijl and Evert Sankrediets.

Understandable, says Roos. “Yes, I also saw a lot of anger indeed. There was a lot of criticism, but of course you could draw that out. Not all criticisms seemed unjustified to me. You also run a risk if you write such a long editorial where you really involve a lot of things, including her cousin Johnny and all kinds of things that got involved.”

‘A kind of rant’

Roos thinks that Linda takes a rather violent attitude in the column. “It was a kind of rant (when someone rages, ed.), a kind of angry outburst that I completely understand, but you run the risk that you can expect criticism on all kinds of levels. That is exactly what happened.”

Fellow guest Debby Gerritsen does not dare to say too much about it. “I read a lot of sadness and I also read a lot of anger. Those were two striking things.”

Compassion for Linda

It’s the second time HLF8 discusses the angry Linda’s comeback while her daughter Noa Vahle is in the studio doing her sports column. Last time, two weeks ago, Linda-bestie Antoinnette Scheulderman almost freaked out because of all the criticism of the fallen TV queen.

At SBS, almost everyone drowns in compassion for Linda, yet HLF8 presenter Leonie pretends it’s crazy that they are all accused of being in camp Linda.

“We don’t care!”

Leonie cynically: “Of course we are here at SBS, huh, so we are part of Linda, so of course we are going to stand up for her, are always the reactions. You can always wait for that, but we don’t care about that at all.”

The SBS stars do not care about the criticism that they are meters deep in John and Linda. Yes, that is now more than clear.
