Linda de Mol made a joke during the Miljoenenjacht broadcast yesterday about the AD article in which it was claimed that she ‘reprimanded’ one of her suitcase girls.
The AD is sometimes accused, and in particular by Johan Derksen, that the newspaper reports above average negatively about the ups and downs of the De Mol family. ‘More than 1.5 million viewers see Linda rebuke the suitcase girl’ headlined the newspaper last week after the broadcast of Miljoenenjacht.

Linda had “corrected” a suitcase girl in the television hit Million Hunt the night before, the article said. “The assistant, who looked at the presenter with deer eyes, offered her apologies in bewilderment.”
It seems that the paper wanted to play on the rumors that Linda might have a bad relationship with the suitcase girls. It was previously speculated by the juice channels that the briefcase girls would not be allowed to talk to Linda during the filming, something that was denied by her manager Xenia Kasper.
What does John think?
What about that briefcase girl’s “reprimand”? In reality, nothing was wrong at all. One of the suitcase girls looked a bit startled when she opened her suitcase. “Don’t you ever want to look like that again?”, Linda then asked jokingly. “She really looked like: that’s that 5 million.” Laughter followed in the studio, also from the suitcase girl.
Johan Derksen thinks it is outrageous that the AD painted a picture for the non-viewer of Miljoenenjacht as if Linda has been very unreasonable to a suitcase girl. “The media, and the AD first of all, are a bit childish towards Linda. Now there was another piece in the newspaper that she had put such a suitcase girl in her place”, he responded in VI.
‘It was a joke!’
Very bad of the AD, Johan thinks it. “Then I think: that was a joke. I saw it and it was a joke. Then she is portrayed in a very negative way again as if she is calling that girl to order.”
René van der Gijp: “Yes. That’s a joke. Nothing wrong with that.”
Johan: “No, that’s not meant to be rude, is it? To be honest: I no longer take AD seriously.”
Linda responds
Linda came back to this AD article yesterday in her last Million Hunt of the season. When things got tense while opening the cases, Linda clenched her teeth.
The fallen TV queen: “Yes, I won’t say anything to you anymore, because otherwise I’ll be ‘reprimanding’ you!”
