Linda de Mol flop Five Live back in top 25 after two weeks

The flopped Linda de Mol series Five Live has returned to the top 25 viewership after an absence of two weeks. Yet her viewership decline remains painful. “Vtwonen scores better.”

It has never happened in Linda de Mol’s career that she scores so badly with new episodes of a program that she does not even end up in the top 25 ratings. Yet that is what happened in the past two weeks: her bad drama series Five Live attracted 329 and 337 thousand viewers, not enough for a place in that overview.

Back in top 25

The sixth episode of Five Live is in this today, namely in place 22 with a score of 444,000 viewers (9 percent market share). It is quite painful that not this expensive drama series, but the evening title Vtwonen is the big hit of SBS 6 on Sunday evening. 706 thousand people (13 percent) watched it, good for a tenth place.

Viewing figure expert Tina Nijkamp: “With Five Live, SBS 6 is the number five of 21.30. But Linda de Mol is back in the top 25 after two weeks. Only in place 22 and with 444 thousand viewers. But still 100 thousand viewers more than last week with the extra competition from Formula 1.”

Whatever the viewing figures do, the content remains dreary, thinks TV expert Rob Goossens. “It would be too much of an honor to call the series an interesting glimpse into the world of TV. The storylines are too tough for that, the characters too boring and the wigs too bad,” he writes in Veronica Superguide.

According to Rob, it’s all really bad. “I know of places where the village stage would have given all visitors their money back after such a misdemeanor.”

Beau wins

Beau van Erven Dorens made the most watched prime-time program yesterday, namely Weet Ik Veel with 1.5 million viewers (27 percent) on RTL 4. Painful enough for Linda, this is her TV child that she presented herself for years, but not was allowed to take to SBS 6.

Furthermore, RTL 4’s One against 50 (1.3 million and 29 percent), NPO 1’s Aria (879 thousand and 16 percent) and NPO 1’s Nederland is Vol (659 thousand and 13 percent) were the most popular. This is followed by Farm Van Dorst with 631 thousand viewers (12 percent) on NPO 3.
