Linda de Mol takes care with her hostile attitude towards the press for increasing irritation among the makers of the RTL Boulevard show section. “She still shoots live at journalists.”
The benefits, but not the burdens: Linda de Mol would very much like the media to pay attention to her new drama series Five Live, but does not wish to answer difficult questions. And that causes some irritation in the television connoisseur of RTL Boulevard, Rob Goossens.
Band of Linda
Linda has sent the editors of Boulevard a tape in which she makes some statements about Five Live and that has also broadcast the show section docilely. “We have an interview about that, but we didn’t ask the questions ourselves. Rob, how about that?” said presenter Frank Dane.
Then Rob says: “Yes, it’s very good that you say that, because otherwise the viewer will immediately say: ‘Gosh, those guys from Boulevard have asked such mild questions.’ We have received a tape in which she tells something about the series.”
‘She shoots live’
Linda is disgusted by the media. She apparently thinks that not her sweetheart Jeroen Rietbergen, but the media have turned her life upside down. “Linda may be back, but if anything comes close to her estate in Crailo that resembles a journalist, she’s still firing live ammunition. This tape is a solution to still tell her story.”
It is disappointing of Linda, Rob thinks. “So I think it’s a shame, because if Linda had just been everywhere with her story about this series, you would have had a little more hype.”
Back entrance
At the presentation of the Golden Calves on Friday evening, Linda also made her appearance. She presented an award on the podium. Shownieuws star Bart Ettekoven about this: “Yes, and not everyone expected that, because she did not come in over the red carpet. She actually came in through the back entrance.”
“It was actually her first major public live performance since she naturally took a step back in January. We have of course already seen her on television at Miljoenenjacht.”
garbage shaft
Rob Goossens thinks Linda is a bit cowardly. “I hear you say that Linda de Mol is back, but she just didn’t let herself be guided in through the garbage shaft just to avoid the red carpet. Then I think: that’s a bit crazy. You’ve now written that seven-page comment, you’ve said you’re back and then you’re avoiding the press. I find that striking.”
All in all, Linda’s new series starts tonight: Five Live. “Miljoenenjacht has a dream lead-in, so it can only be that it will score very well,” said viewing figure expert Tina Nijkamp in Humberto Tan’s talk show.
