On November 24, the horror classic “Night of the Living Dead” (1968) will be released in a restored version. ROLLING STONE is giving away a limited Collector’s Edition of George A. Romero’s debut black and white film including specials, which will be released on November 29th.
Siblings Barbra (Judith O’Dea) and Johnny (Russell Streiner) are visiting their father’s grave when they are suddenly attacked by a strange man. However, the two can get to safety in an old farmhouse and meet other like-minded people who have also sought refuge. On the news, they hear about a deadly epidemic that is raising the recently deceased as flesh-eating undead. The hustle and bustle in the country house is getting more and more intense.
Other roles include Duane Jones, Karl Hardman and Marilyn Eastman.

The specials of the Collector’s Edition
The limited collector’s edition comes with the 4K UHD Steelbook, Volume 1 of the comic book adaptation of the horror film “Night of the Living Dead – Father Sins” by Jean-Luc Istin, with drawings by Elia Bonetti in booklet format, an additional 32-page Booklet for the film, 3 posters and 5 art cards in stores.
The film will also be available on November 24th as a 3-disc 4K UHD Steelbook, 2-disc Blu-ray Special Edition, DVD and digital. All releases also appear with new artwork: Steelbook and Collector’s Edition are by graphic artist Mathieu Pequinot, DVD & Blu-ray Edition were designed by comic book artist and illustrator Francesco Francavilla.
