Limburg pies may only be baked in Limburg: “Report for bakers who violate the rule”

The Limburg bakers are as proud as a peacock, because their pies have been recognized by Europe as a regional product. From now on, the name ‘Limburgse vlaai’ may only be used for baked goods that meet very strict conditions. But what makes a Limburg pie so unique? We asked baker’s son Peter Nulens from Hasselt.
