Lil Pump seems to be outgrowing his “bad boy” image. After the US rapper – like his colleague 6ix9ine – has primarily adorned himself with negative headlines since the start of his career and hardly missed an opportunity for provocation, it became surprisingly quiet about the “Gucci Gang” interpreter. The musician is currently attracting attention again – through good deeds.
Lil Pump buys a fan new shoes
Recently, Lil Pump posted a video on his social media channels that appears to show how much the rapper loves his fans. The clip shows the 21-year-old shopping in a luxury shoe store while a crowd of people gather outside the window. A maybe twelve-year-old boy draws attention to himself because he tries to communicate with the rapper through cell phone notes. In it, he challenges Lil Pump to play a game of rock, paper, scissors with him for a pair of shoes. He gets involved in the game and loses the second round. The boy is then allowed to choose a pair of shoes in the store and decides on a pair of (not so expensive) Black Paisley Nike Dunks. Commenting on the choice, Lil Pump said: “I have the same shoes. Now we fit together.”
It is not clear whether the clip was shot spontaneously or staged. In the comments, the rapper is at least praised for his actions. For example, at one point it says: “Sure, his music isn’t the best, but he’s really a chilled guy.”
Lil Pump brings wheelchair users onto the stage
Lil Pump had previously attracted attention with another campaign. During a performance in Montreal, the rapper spotted a wheelchair user being carried by the crowd and called him over. After the man was carried onto the stage, the quite sporty man, who is an athlete and a motivational trainer, danced next to his idol and thus heated up the audience. Among other things, Woody Belfort, as the man is called, lifted himself and his wheelchair.
It is unclear whether Lil Pump is trying to support his comeback with his current actions. On a musical level, the rapper recently returned with the song “1st Off”. The song was released by the rapper, who is no longer signed to Warner Music, independent.
