Ajax has captured Skye Vink. The 16-year-old son of former Ajax player Marciano Vink signs a contract until the summer of 2025 in Amsterdam.
Skye Vink has been playing in the youth academy of the team from Amsterdam since 2017 and is part of the Ajax Under-18 selection. The youth international is currently recovering from a fibula injury. Before Vink came to Ajax, the talented striker played in the youth at Zeeburgia, where he was coached by his father Marciano.
The 52-year-old Marciano Vink, currently active as an analyst at ESPN, was also present at the contract signing. Vink senior played more than a hundred Eredivisie matches for Ajax in the eighties and nineties. Father Vink also came to two international matches for the Dutch national team.
