MTV meteorologist Liisa Rintaniemi told Iltalehte in May that she was expecting her third child.
Rintaniemi, 43, now opens fresh in his blog post, why did you end up deciding on “evening star”. The meteorologist and his wife have 9- and 12-year-old sons, and for a long time Rintaniemi was of the opinion that two children were enough.
– I really wouldn’t have been able to welcome a new little one into our family in 2017. The busiest years of childhood were indeed getting easier, but the everyday life of working parents with numerous side projects took all the resources and more at that moment. Time passed and the window for having children seemed to be closing for good., Rintaniemi describes in her Lisbet e. blog their feelings.
Time passed, and soon Rintaniemi noticed that she wasn’t ready to let go of her childhood years when her sons were growing up. At the same time, the studies were already nearing the end and the family’s financial situation improved.
– I feel that the resources (time, financial, spiritual) for increasing the family are now better and I think it would be false to claim that the number of children is not largely a matter of resources.

Rintaniemi had also previously thought that she would not want to get pregnant again after the age of 35.
– But there I was, in my early forties, graduating for a new profession, and I didn’t feel at all that my time had passed and all that was left was to wait for menopause and retirement, the meteorologist opens.
We finally tried for a third child for almost a year. The calculated time is in September.
Rintaniemi states in her blog that she did not want to find out the gender of the future child before the birth.
– Many may think that I dream of a girl to accompany two boys, but frankly speaking, I have no other wish for it. It’s wonderful to think that you’re only expecting a “baby”.
