Superstar Kylian Mbappé has snagged another record. The 24-year-old world champion from 2018 scored his 139th goal for Paris Saint-Germain in the top French division in a 3-1 (3-0) win against RC Lens on Saturday evening (04/15/2023) and now has one more goal scored for PSG as Edinson Cavani.
Mbappé scored in the 31st minute for a 1-0 lead, it was his 20th goal of the season. With the victory against the direct pursuer, Paris St. Germain took the decisive step in the direction of successfully defending the title.
The team of superstars around Mbappé and Lionel Messi now leads the league by nine points. However, Olympique Marseille could jump into second place with a win against ES Troyes AC on Sunday and close the gap on PSG to eight points.
