The City of Waregem implements weather surveillance for Ware Gloed and continuously receives weather updates. That is also necessary: the light festival was almost rained out on Saturday evening, but visitors continue to arrive. In the Casier park, where the light walk starts, the light installations come to life, between the trees and even on the pond. But the entire walk exudes a mystical atmosphere.
The three-day light spectacle is part of Warmegem, an experience in which Waregem aims to be the warmest city in the country for ten days and runs until February 18.
