Lifelong obesity can nearly double the risk of uterine cancer, study shows

Scientists and doctors have known for some time that being overweight or obese increases the risk of uterine cancer. New research shows that being overweight for a lifetime can nearly double a woman’s risk of developing uterine cancer. The research was funded by Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and published in the journal BMC Medicine.
