Known as the ‘Queen of Nostalgia’ due to her success in the nostalgic songs she sang, Muazzez Ersoy enchanted the audience on stage with her magnificent repertoire, voice and powerful interpretation at Paraf Kuruçeşme Open-Air Concerts, and gave great hours to the music lovers, who filled the area with a blast despite the holiday break.
The giant ‘Kuruçeşme Choir’ accompanied Ersoy’s songs in unison. In addition to the most popular songs of Turkish Classical Music, Ersoy filled music lovers with works by Fatih Erkoç, Barış Manço and Neşet Ertaş.
“WHAT YOU WEAR WHEN YOU ARE WEAK SUITABLE”
Muazzez Ersoy, who wore two costumes by Asiye Birben in her concert, first preferred a pink, low-cut and long costume, and secondly, she went out of her usual style with her mini dress and managed to attract attention.
“DO NOT TOUCH MY GÜLŞEN”
Muazzez Ersoy, who had a conversation with members of the press before going on stage, answered the journalists who asked about her low-cut costume, “Whatever you wear on stage when you’re weak suits you.”
Reminding that the successful commentator and pop singer Gülşen, who has not fallen into the magazine’s agenda, has been talked about a lot lately, she said, “Don’t touch my Gülşen. Everything suits her like a sculpture. I love her very much.”
“NO ASKING ACCOUNT, ‘WHERE DID YOU STAY?’ NO SAY”
Master artist Muazzez Ersoy burst into laughter from the guests who filled Kuruçeşme Open Air during the conversation he had on stage with the audience in the second part of his concert.
“Life without a husband, oh how comfortable. No one asks for account, ‘Where have you been?’ No one says. Is there a more comfortable life than this? Look, I’m going to get off the stage and go to my house in Bodrum tomorrow, for example, no one interferes.”
