Life Science confession from Tarık Papuççuoğlu

Famous actor Tarık Papuççuoğlu was the guest of Hülya Koçyiğit’s “Film-like Lives” program on TRT 2 this week.

The actor explained how he got involved in the TV series “Life Information”, which was published in 2003:

“Gani Müjde said, ‘I am looking for a type that reminds me of Kel Mahmut’ and offered me the role in the TV series ‘Life Science’.

‘There are so many balding players from my generation,’ although I explained, ‘No, we want you. But you’ll be bald,’ he said.

There was no wig. They wanted to shave my hair. I traveled with this hair for 4 years. The funniest thing was that the show would take a vacation and I wouldn’t keep shaving in the summer. My hair came out like broccoli. I walked around like a grass man for 4 seasons.”

Papuççuoğlu also said that although he wanted theater at university, he preferred to study architecture: “I did industrialism and theater at the same time for 30 years.”
