Life is short, it counts about 4000 weeks (if you are lucky). How do you best fill that limited time? And how not?

We are all going to die and life is absurdly, ridiculously short. Burkeman begins his book with this glad tidings. The oldest person in history, the French Jeanne Calment, who lived to be 122 years old, was also given ‘only’ 6400 weeks. If you assume that you are 80, you yourself have about 4000 weeks on this planet. Too little time, therefore, to realize everything that we humans can come up with with our brain capacity of infinitely ambitious plans. So the pressure to make the most of the time we have is high.
