Today, Minister Liesje Schreinemacher for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation transferred her tasks to Minister Geoffrey van Leeuwen. Van Leeuwen will replace her during her maternity leave.

As of today, Geoffrey van Leeuwen is responsible for the Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation portfolios.
Minister Van Leeuwen: “It is very nice that I can continue Liesje Schreinemacher’s work in the coming months. I can build on the course that the cabinet has already set: doing what the Netherlands is good at. Naturally, the war in Ukraine and the humanitarian situation in Gaza require full attention, so I will get to work immediately.”
