The Fall/Winter 2022 collection from LIEBESKIND BERLIN reflects the spirit of the 90s and pays tribute to the wild Berlin of that time. Inspired by films such as Pulp Fiction or Run Lola Run, the collection picks up on the capital’s eclectic pop and rave culture as well as the glamor of the big catwalks.
Loud, uninhibited, unique
This contrast is also reflected in the multi-faceted design language of the collection: from shapely to slouchy, from straight to playful, the collection gives an insight into the unpredictable energy that broke ground in Berlin in the 90s.
In terms of colour, strong, warm red tones such as rusty, dark tangerine or Mexican peppers dominate, right through to sensual brown nuances such as sepia, walnut or tiramisu. In combination with delicate pastels such as Frosty or Alice Blue, the color palette of this collection thrives on the constant tension between sensual power and strong vulnerability.
Berlin with corners and edges
The legendary techno scene is undeniably part of Berlin’s DNA. The gentle anarchy of the underground therefore inspired the collection to create a few special eye-catchers: The Lilly Tote made of fine black leather is reminiscent of Neo’s long leather coat made of Matrix, for example, or Mia Wallace’s iconic bob in Pulp Fiction. And for fans of the untamed boho look à la Kate Moss, the Lilly Tote is available in fine suede.
Y2K trends reinterpreted
Another highlight of the Fall/Winter 2022 collection is the Scarlet. With its elongated fit and mini format, the new satchel is reminiscent of the iconic and beloved shoulder bags of the 90s – but adds its own twist to the classic with a casual twist: the Scarlet is a special highlight. As a homage to Berlin’s rave scene, the Scarlet is also available as a cult belt bag.
