The viewers of the RTL 4-hit B&B Vol Liefde were treated to a juicy fight yesterday. Libera, the ex-wife of candidate Hans, was in fact furious with his ‘backstabbing’ date Sylvia.
B&B Vol Liefde candidate Hans is looking for a new love in the program. The chosen one must get along with his ex-wife Libera, with whom he runs the bed & breakfast and therefore still lives together. Libera comes across as a quiet lady who pretty much ignores herself, but yesterday her bucket was quite full.
“She’s underhanded!”
Sylvia, Hans’s floaty date who hangs in a tree in the garden all day, has complained to Hans about the hygiene of the toilets. And that while they are cleaned by Libera. She felt very screwed by Sylvia in yesterday’s episode and fiercely approached her.
Libera: “She comes across as a nice, sweet woman and I want to thank her for that manicure, but I think this is underhanded. backstabbed. Because she should have told me, because she knows me now. She keeps saying ‘I love you’, but she should say that to me, not to him. I find that insulting.”
‘Very very snobbish’
The viewer was shown how Libera furiously rushed at Sylvia to get a story. She urged her to come with her to inspect the toilet. Sylvia then began to scrub it thoroughly. “She’s a bit of a snob, someone who only criticizes. And then clean up when I watch? No!” said Libera.
The spicy fight, of which you will find an excerpt below, managed to charm no less than 875 thousand viewers (21 percent market share) on RTL 4 yesterday, a top score. Only NPO 2’s De Slimste Mens attracted more attention during prime time, namely 1.6 million viewers (36 percent).

Music festival disappoints
In addition to De Slimste Mens and B&B Vol Liefde, most people watched Nieuwsuur (615 thousand) and Muziekfeest op het Plein (552 thousand) during prime time. The latter program is very disappointing, according to viewing figure expert Tina Nijkamp. Although it is mainly the viewing figures of the Shownieuws Summer Edition that shock her: 81 thousand (2.6 percent).
Other programs that did not make the top 15 include Hart van Nederland (503 thousand), Shownieuws (406 thousand) and 112 Today (290 thousand).
